Feladatok:

• Implementation, Maintenance and Operation of DB2 systems and associated additional DB2 software & tools
• Organizing and supporting system operation up to 7x24 hours
• Detection of operational failures and performance bottlenecks, doing performance analyses and measures
• Backup, restart and recovery of DB2 systems
• Administration of DB2 system security and system integrity
• Formulating/carrying out change requests for basic DB2 systems
• Development, Implementation and Maintenance of Standards, methods, procedures and solutions for an optimized DB2 System operation

Elvárások:

• Min. 5 years of experience and very good knowledge of application- and DB2 operation and system engineering
• Intermediate knowledge of English language
• Installation / Administration / Operation DB2 systems
• File organization forms and DB tools
• Omegamon and/or TMON monitors
• Basic z/OS system knowledge and various sub-systems
• Basic SNA and TCP/IP knowledge
• Basic knowledge of z/OS Sysplex architecture and DB2 data sharing architecture
• Detailed TSO, ISPF, JCL knowledge
